Pellet is a twelve-year-old boy who lives in a sordid and violent atmosphere. His family situation, which he ashamedly conceals, makes him incapable of relating to and communicating with other kids. The arrival of a new class-mate at school, with whom he strikes up a friendship, and the possibilities he is offered of getting to know another type of family reality altogether, gives him the strength to accept and finally to confront his own.
