Anita Sirgo and Constantina Pérez were 30 when the miners' revolt started in Asturias in the beginning of the 60s. "Digging In Their Heels" focuses on the events which led to the first organized response of the workers’ movement and a sector of Spanish intellectuals to the dictatorship and the crucial role played by the miners’ wives.
