Spanish for Specific Purposes (E1)

Spanish for Business | A2 | B1 |
For professionals who wish to learn the norms of business communication and business practices in the Spanish speaking world.

Spanish for Children: | A1 | A2 | (Ages 6 to 12)
This program is designed to meet the creative needs of children while they learn Spanish.

Spanish for children with Spanish background (Ages 3 to 13)
This program is designed to meet the needs of children with Spanish background.

Leaving Certificate | A2 | B1 |
This course, offered all year around, provides high school students the opportunity to improve their Spanish comprehension and communication skills as they prepare for the May 2010 test.

Preparation for the DELE exams | B1 | B2 | C1 |
These courses are offered all year around. Students enhance their skills and technique and prepare for the exams. This course is offered at the DELE exam levels: A1, Inicial (B1), Intermedio (B2) and Superior (C2).

Skill courses (E2)

Conversation | All levels | A2 | B1 | B2 | C1 |
Students will improve their speaking skills and become more proficient in Spanish.

Writing Course | B2 | C1 |
Through writing activities in Spanish, the student will acquire tools to improve grammar, vocabulary, style and ultimately oral interaction skills.

Mind your grammar | B1 | B2
Let’s approach grammar from an absolutely new point of view. Rather than storing piles of rules, we need to know how to use it in order to fulfil what we intend to communicate.

English - Spanish translation | B2 | C1 | (also suitable for Spanish native speakers)
Students with an Advanced and Superior level will practice their skills and knowledge about the Spanish and Latin American countries while producing written texts.

Culture and civilization courses (E3)

Spanish Language and Culture through the Cinema | B2 | C1 |
We offer students the possibility of learning, speaking and writing about specific topics of the Hispanic reality through Cinema.

Latin American Cinema: a window to the Hispanic world | B2 | C1 |
The students will access in this course to a serial of Latin American films showing and analysing important topics for the region.

Understanding Almodóvar | B2 | C1 | (In Spanish and English)
The course intends to enter the world of one of the greatest directors of all times.

Literature and movies in Spanish. | B2 | C1 |
The use of story telling together with movies is a fantastic combination to motivate and inspire students to continue with their learning of the Spanish language and culture.

Short stories from Spain and Latin America | B2 | C1 |
This course will present short stories by key authors of Spanish and Latin American literature and some important writers in the contemporary literary scene.

Fiestas and traditions in Spain | B1 | B2 | C1 |
During the course the student will become familiar with different Spanish traditions and Fiestas getting closer to a cultural and linguistic reality of the country and its inhabitants.

Flamenco workshop
Five-week courses focusing on theoretical and practical tuition in Flamenco Rhythm & Clapping (compás and palmas) and Introduction to Sevillanas.

Tango workshop
Four-week courses focusing on theoretical and practical tuition in Tango.
